Darwin Waterfront, walkable from the CBD, is the go to place for visitors as well as locals to chill out.
There is a plunge pool for swimming, lot of restaurants to have a nice meal by the waterfront, cruises to enjoy sunset! Flying Doctors museum is also here which is worth a visit to see a real Flying Doctors Plane and an amazing Virtual Reality experience of the Darwin bombings during the WWII!

Even during the afternoon, there are hardly many people out, mainly because the Sun was too harsh!
But good for clicking some neat pictures!
Lot of cruises operate in the evening from these wharfs….
Loved these artificial ‘hand trees’ (I made the name up, lol!)… a touch of Aboriginal culture!
