Some long overdue pictures from a visit to the beautiful Point Nepean National Park earlier this year!
Located at the southernmost tip of Mornington Peninsula, this national park attracts lot of nature lovers who don’t mind a long walk along the beach and in the forest!
The total walk is around 12-14 KM return, part of which can be done along the beach!
Took our shoes off and enjoyed the sandy walk!
I just loved these on the beach!
Continue walking in the forest …
At the end of the walk, there’s the quarantine station, military forts and tunnels (I lost the pictures somewhere 😦 !!). And it’s the southern most point of the Australian mainland!!
The views and the historical things to see are surely worth all the distance!
